my name

is Jacob Harris, and i am the founder / ceo of buildwallet.​  since 2008 i have owned + operated commercial & residential construction companies.  in 2016 we started using individual bank accounts to more efficiently handle project cash flow.  in 2019 i had an idea to build a platform that would automate contracts + cashflow, to help teams build faster using TRU$T.

• 2021 - platform launched + name change to BuildWallet

• 2022 - first project wallet

• 2025 - switch from banking to blockchain (platform offline)​​

creating a category is the hardest thing I have ever done.  99% of the information available is about how to position a product in an existing category & steal market share from the competition.  NOBODY talks about the sizable shift in creating a new category from scratch, and properly launch it in an existing industry.
